Summer.
I love summer. I love the break from school of course (though I do enjoy school…), but I just love summer.
It’s like a vast time period of warm freedom, full of pool and river enjoyment, iced sweet tea, gardening, and being outside with family.
It has definitely been hot here, and we’re grateful for the pool too cool off in! 🙂
I took a break from the Internet for the week, and am so glad I did! Life awaits, and it cannot be lived if my eyes are glued to this tireless screen!
We had a WONDERFUL weekend! =D I also got some pictures, so let’s dive in, shall we?
Dad and Kody have been working on our new, big, functioning chicken coop. To do so, we are taking apart our beloved fort. It had to be taken down anyway; and now the coop will look nice. Goodbye dear fort, you hold many memories, but now we start anew for more! 🙂Â
We’ve all been having a blast! =D
Yahweh has blessed us with a beautiful summer thus far! 😀 ♥♥

Well, here’s the thing. I got grounded for a week (but my Ma is amazing and today said we could get off shortish), and while there were times I just wanted to see those websites scrolling beneath my eyes… It was WELL worth it.
It would be super tempting if I hadn’t had a rule, ya know? Like, for me, I don’t know if just saying ‘I’m not getting on’ would be enough. I’d need firmer standards or I’d cheat.
But the break was needed. I mean, there’s so much life going on, ya know? Like all around me, outside and chores and living and hanging out- I plan on cutting back so I can keep enjoying myself this summer! 😀
I’d really say find what routine works for you! I’d definitely suggest days off the web… Having this free time made me see what else there was to do, and what beautiful life God has given me to live!

My family has been relaxing these last two weeks, and yes, I’ve slightly taken of having no schoolwork. Though I have camp next week and it’ll be nice to live in the wooe, away from media, and with friends. After that I really want to be careful of how I spend my time, summer is worth enjoying:)
