7 months of the year. We’re half way into 2016.

So much has happened in such a short time, and I know more is to come. I cannot see my future, and I cannot cling to my past when it is time to continue on my way.

I guess what I’m saying is every day is a gift from God, even when it is full of tears and question not yet answered. It is also full of laughter, loving eyes, and knowing I am safe in Yeshua.

I am SO happy to have gotten tagged to do this thingie! 😀 Thank you Victoria, this tag is really great. =D And yes, I am freaking out over books of course. Whether I am a book freak or a book freaker outer… Yeah, nah, I’m just a bookworm. Let’s continue! =D

I am currently writing Seek, which means I haven’t been around on any of my media sites… Which includes this break from blogging. Oops! But I am doing a post about Camp NaNo, so whenever that comes out… Haha. ;D This post will be fun to do to get stuff flowing while I’m bashing heads with my characters writing! 😀

Best Book You’ve Read So Far In 2016

AHAHA. WOWZIES. Wow. Haha. *slaps knee* OK, well, I can’t choose because I have newly beloved ones so these will work! xD Books I read I LOVED this year so far; Blink, Ted Dekker; and Dracula, Bram Stroker.

Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far In 2016

… Um… Have I read nay sequels? *looks under my cape* *trips on cape* I have not. :/ HOWEVER, I will read A Man Called Blessed soon, and that is a sequel. 🙂

New Release You Haven’t Read But Want To

Hahaha what. I don’t really keep up with new releases… I am however, aware that Ted Dekker did a sequel to A.D. 30., called A.D.33, and I am not sure if it has come out or when it will, but I am definitely getting that one. I do believe it is already released though haha.

Most Anticipated Release For The Second Half Of The Year

I have no idea, I don’t have one… Oops…

Biggest Disappointment

A Girl With A Pearl Earring, definitely. I had been so interested at first and then the thing went into the drain. Ugh.

Biggest Surprise

Well I would say The Hobbit but I saw it coming. *cries* So, probably Steelheart. I hadn’t been paying attention to Megan and David, so…

Favorite New Author

Umm… I am probably going to be reading more of Brandon Sanderson’s books, but he isn’t necessarily my ‘favorite’ new author, but he’s new.

Newest Fictional Crush/ship

*JUMPING UP AND DOWN BECAUSE YES ROMANCE I CAN DO THIS*

Blink‘s Seth and Miriam. They were meant for each other. Seth is the genius and Miriam is the woman who not only keeps him steady, but he just protects her and does what’s best and they were both absolutely amazing and they love each other. I love them loving each other. xD

Also, OK, I am reading Ted Dekker’s A.D. 30 right now, and MAVIAH AND JUDAH. THEY TOO ARE IN LOVE. I KNEW IT.

Oh… my crush? My book crush? *hides face* Umm…. I don’t have a big one this year… But let’s just say that in A.D.30; Saba better get his head to the stars because if he *insert unsaid word* then I will cry. Good day.

Newest Favorite Character

=) Seth and Miriam, Blink, of course. 😉 Also Judah and Miriam.

And Cody from Steelheart. I really seriously understood everything that crazy man said and he reminded me of my dad the way he went on and talked silly. He was great. xD

Book That Made You Cry

=) If A.D. 30 has the twist I think it will have, I’ll cry. xD But Dracula did have me kinda crying. xD They killed off one of my favorite guys I was so angry.

I also read The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis. I am so sad… The Chronicles of Narnia are so beautiful, and now they come to an end… And the ending is so real.

Book That Made You Happy

The Hobbit, it was like stepping into a world I knew so well but also so distant… ♥

Black, by Ted Dekker, also has me LAUGHING so that makes me happy, too. xD Have I said how much these warrior ‘owls’ of fluff are amazing? Because they are.

Favorite Book To Film Adaption You Saw This Year

I haven’t watched many, if any, new movies this year! Really… I have no idea.

Favorite Post You’ve Done So Far This Year

Um…. I’m enjoying making the Camp NaNo post… I can’t really choose a favorite! xD Too much has happened that I’ve done!

Most beautiful Book You Bought This Year

The copy of Blink I got looks so cool. But it isn’t ‘beautiful’… So I’d have to say A Lineage Of Grace... 🙂 Really great series of novellas…

What Books You Need To Read by The End Of The Year

A LOT. xD But in a good way. I have lots of books that are on the top of my list. =D

*looks at reading list* *looks up* *looks at reading list again* Oh, would you look at that.

Basically, I have read all of the books of The Lost Books- ESCEPT LUNATIC. Which means I can’t finish the series. *bangs head on table* I am planning on rereading the series before I read Lunatic, so I can keep it all together.

Black is part of the Circle Books, and that is wrapped into The Lost Books… So I had to read them, too.

I read Blessed Child so I must read the sequel.

And I’m reading A.D. 30 so when I get my hands on A.D. 33

Out of the books you mentioned, I think I’ve only read The Hobbit. That’s…impressive. Except…not. XD

Hey Angela! *waves* I’m not sure if I’m commented here before, but I know you commented on my blog. So…hey! Nice to meet ya! 😀

No, that’s great! 😀 I only just got to it, though I’ve watched all of the movies. xD It is a really wonderful book, except a little crushing, if ya know what I mean… ;’D

The ending of The Hobbit makes me cry every. freaking. time. Just so much nooooo and just gah so many broken hearts. (Although the movie doesn’t make me cry, which weirds me out. =/ I would think it would make me cry too. I do tear up though when Bilbo’s back in the Shire and the guy asks him the thing and he’s like “he was a friend” or whatever it was and that just breaks my heart every time.)

You never really saw it coming, really! Not in the book! If it hadn’t been spoiled for me a long time back, I would have been SO shocked… I don’t blame you at all. :'(
I don’t really remember if I cried in the movie ‘Battle Of The Five Armies’… I think a may have a little? But I didn’t cry in the books. But it was SO HEARTBREAKING… The ending was so bittersweet.

Yessss. I don’t remember what it was like when I first read the book, but yeah. I know I’ve cried every time. XD
Yessss. Bittersweet endings are just so confusing and they can hurt more than just sad endings. XD

Yeah… *sniffle* Tolkien definitely has some precious stories…
I think they’re more ‘hit home’, honestly! They sort of just make you think, make you understand- emotions are there… Because you don’t just have a sad ending that’s finished. You have one that leaves you thinking. One you probably can relate too… I like bittersweet endings, but I love happy ones, too. ;D
