The month of September has been a whirlwind so far. I got sick and am still recovering. We’re on the verge of packing our house because we sold house #1 (more on this to come). And, today, 9/11, I fasted for the first time. The fast ran from 6 AM to 6 PM today (I didn’t eat till 7:20 though). During that fast, we prayed for North Carolina — that God will guide hurricane Florence out to sea and have mercy on the US.
September 11th has been sobering today, as well. Our nation changed seventeen years, and it has never been the same. We cannot forget the lives lost and given that day. Remember. And continue to pray for mercy over our nation!

My parents anniversary is September 11 as well, but they just celebrated 19 years – meaning they had their 2nd anniversary when the plane crashes happened.
