Today has been a purely fantastic day! 😀
I have been wishing and praying for snow here. 2015 may not have ended in snow, but, 2016 has been an amazing fresh time.
OK… ‘Fresh’ I mean its been freezing here (seriously), frosting, raining… Don’t get me wrong, I love this weather. But I’ve been longing for a bunch of white stuff.
Welp, the Lord is gracious! 😀 This morning, Ma got us up to help get hay for the horses- and it was white outside!
Not very white, it had only just began to snow. 😀 We did the chores, fed the horses, and Dad came back from work in the morning. 😀 So we were all safe at home. ♥ Ma made us breakfast/lunch, and then, we went back outside. ;D
I took a ton of photos today, too! 😀
We had a lovely, fun day! ♥ We played in the snow, did snow angels, snow men… We got so much snow for here! 4+ inches- we don’t remember getting so much snow the time we’ve been here. It has truly been beautiful.
Snow has such a gentle, calming atmosphere… All day, I have been in utter awe of the breathtaking beauty around me. This cold, bitter swarm of snowflakes, colliding to the ground, piling up, filling the trees, covering the roads… Sometimes, it would merely fall so slow and idly, it seemed to be frozen in time.
I love snow. That’s one thing about it; you lose time. It doesn’t exist. The snow keeps falling, I’m enthralled by the way it moves, enthralled by how it looks against the forest landscape. The many flocks of birds come and search for food from the horse’s fields. They were all in flocks, and never really left all day.
To see how the snow fell. Seeing the woods as a winter wonderland. I was truly amazed. No words can describe what it was, or what I felt. Pictures I took did no justice for the scenery.
This is one of many gifts the Creator created. All around me; His works are flawless. It felt like God was giving me a big hug and a kiss, sharing His Best Art all around me.
The snow is so gentle and yet so fierce. I wasn’t like FREEZING, but I did have times when my knees felt like fire from kneeling in the snow. XD But I have felt at peace all day. Everything calmed, and all that mattered was that Yahweh gave me today as a gift.
All of us were just merry today. 😀 I love seeing everyone happy and having fun. Yahweh gave us a time of lifting our spirits today, I think.
Outside in the snow, in our woods, I felt like the Lord had just ushered Kody and I into a piece of His Heaven. He let us part into Heaven, and I knew He was also laughing along side us, showing me His sights, and He was happy with us.
Dad and Roger worked on the fence, too, while Kody and I made another snowman. ;D Reyna came out to play a few times, too! 😀 She had lots of fun, she is so cute. ♥ This was Laney’s first snow, too. 😀 Kody showed her from the window. ♥ The snow was so deep! And beautiful! And pure!
Today was so much better than a fairy tale. ♥ And my heart is singing and praising to the Lord, as it has been all day. 🙂
We had a very busy, fun snow day! 😀 We are so blessed to have each other and a warm home. 🙂 Ahh, we had a wonderful day! ♥ God bless!
