Sometimes things

can get pretty

drastic.

Yes, and the

times can be very

dire.

Hard to keep

the fire,

the fire

going

high.

Higher than the skyscrapers that will

tell you

to keep it together,

keep moving on.

You might be wondering

what do you

do to

move on?

Moving on

moving on,

what is that?

Is it forgetting?
Is it remembering?
Is it accepting?
Is it refusing?

We’ll keep it together,

maybe, if

for a

moment.

Drastic, drastic indeed.

Its best not to

keep it

inside

I assure

you.

The lies say

you protect

them

by not telling them.

That’s why the

word

lies

was

made for.

Drastic indeed,

this lie,

for nothing hurts most than

not

communicating.

You can’t

hide

or change

that.

I am sorry

soul,

but that’s not

how this goes

for you will

fall,

fall into a

hole.

A pit of despair.

A pit of loneliness

and false

hope,

false

comfort.

In denial,

very drastic.

Say the words

don’t listen to

the

skyscrapers.

No,

no you must

speak and hear.

Hard to do when

you have

no eyes or

ears

or heart for anyone

but

yourself.

Lying

to yourself

drastic times,

drastic decisions.

Well,

maybe you can’t control

these times

but you can

control

yourself.

The news is

this;

You

can.

You can hear and speak.

Don’t slip so far

into yourself

that you lose sight of

this world.

Don’t lose sight

of the beauty and hope

if you

do,

drastic times indeed.

For now,

you’ll try to

move on.

Some say

time heals all

scars

they never say

that time

can also make

wounds

and scars.

Time makes things harder

for sure.

Maybe time doesn’t

heal

just gives you time

to move

on.

You have a voice

and never

please, friend,

never ignore

the ones who matter

most.

You know them,

the ones who love you,

who help you,

who care,

who provide-

They’re your family.

And I,

in these drastic of times,

am to say that:

Don’t ignore them,

communicate

with them

speak up

and stand

up.

Stand lines exist for

a reason.

But not always.

And never welcome

Mr. Victim.

Sometimes closed lips

mean more

than a

screaming mouth.

Maybe you’re like me.

Tired of

letting go.

Forgive me if

these words

are drastic

drastic times and drastic measures

and all.

Sometimes the place in

my head

gets over full.

Well, friend,

this is what happens sometimes,

when my heads outlet is

my fingertips.

  1. “Don’t lose sight
    of the beauty and hope
    if you
    do,
drastic times indeed.” <<< That. Just yes. <3
