I know some may laugh; but this, to me, is true. When Blue was in my life; she was in at the perfect time. God works in amazing ways. My life was hard then, everything was really not too great; and with Blue, I had an outlet. My family always said I could talk to them, because we were all going through it, but trust me, there’s just something about venting to a horse that you know loves you…
I know to some it’s ‘just a horse’ but not to me. Yeah, maybe not all horses are great. But when you find the one, for me… She was more than a horse. She was my friend. Because I could talk to her, and she wouldn’t talk back in any way. I’d hug her or cry in her neck, and she’d never pull away. No, she was not just an animal.
Blue may be gone, but God isn’t. He brought her in, and took her home. I know I should be moved on, but every now and then, it hits me all over again, and I truly remember.
But God is with me. And He still does things that I need, even if they aren’t in such large proportions as Blue.
