I’m a mix of both, I guess…? I don’t like that “Santa Baby” song but I adore For King & Country’s Christmas album so fight me.
White Christmas or Australian Christmas?
I need a white Christmas, y’all. So very bad. But I live in the South. So Tennessee is still very brown. And dead. And there’s green grass out in the field? Even though it’s dropped below freezing? (Maybe I should go visit my friends up north. Or something.)
Tree decorating or bedroom decorating?
I looooove decorating the tree with my family. I also love having lights up in my room. But honestly, I’ll probably make lights in my room a year round thing. So. Tree decorating. (And I looove my ornaments.)
Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
This one is tough! I’ll go with morning, though. We don’t do gifts on Christmas Eve, but we do a finger food feast, which is fabulous. Christmas morning is full of unwrapping gifts, coffee, ooh-ing over things, insisting to get photos, and helping the kids play with their loot. Of course, Christmas morning means it’s over, and usually someone in the family declares “now we just have another 364 days till Christmas!”. So.

Elf. I… never truly realllyyy liked the Home Alone movies. Oops.
Hallmark or Mitch Rapp novels?
HA! I’ve barely watched any Hallmark this year and I’m dying to keep reading the Rapp series. They just… *happy sigh* put me in the winter spirit, for some reason.

I’m a total sucker for pretty Christmas outfits even if I don’t have them, but, y’know.

The airport idea sounds the funnest for a novel idea but I don’t like being in hell, so let’s go with home alone. Like a loner. A loser. Why would I be home alone? Did my family forget me? Who knows. But I’ll be making cookies, watching The Office Christmas episodes, and crying!

EGGNOG!! Tbh I don’t really like hot cocoa and it’s the only time of year you can get eggnog (unless you make it yourself which I don’t recommend…). Most of us don’t like it so we haven’t had any yet but I Love It.

That depends on what’s technically old or new. Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra, not so much, though I do enjoy it occasionally…but pretty much every country Christmas album even if they’re singing the classics…?? 😍

I’m so not used to getting snow I don’t really care that we don’t on Christmas, but when we do it’s such a special treat!!

Tree, all the way. My room is red white and blue…I’m not about to change it up for Christmas. 😂 The rest of the house, though?? 🙃

Whichever my parents are playing on Amazon Music. Old Christmas Music sounds kinda scratchy sometimes, but I don’t like most modern stuff with all the romance about people who won’t be home for Christmas. Just give me Andrew Peterson’s stuff.

Well. SC never gets snow… like, ever. So I don’t have the option of the former. (though I’d love it)

Tree. If you decorate the bedroom then you have to decorate all the bedrooms and it gets everywhere and is hard to clean up in the end. XD

I presume an Australian Christmas is a Christmas without snow lol. Depends on the temperatures. If it’s cold, Australian Christmas, but if an Australian Christmas isn’t cold, then White Christmas. I don’t like snow, but I’d rather it be at highest 60 degrees outside
I didn’t even know bedroom decorating was a thing until I came back from volunteering one day to find my sister had put Christmas lights up in my room xD Gonna have to choose tree decorating, though lol

Act in a nativity scene! 😀 I did that once when I was really young, and I got to play “Wise Man #3”, who, for the skit, was the comic relief! He was supposed to be addicted to food, which admittingly isn’t wise lol
I’d rather be home alone. The reason I chose this? ‘Cause I’m never alone! 😀 I’ve got God, and about fifty imaginary friends…yeah, I need to grow up at some point :/
Christmas Eve is the best time to read about Jesus’ birth because it keeps you in focus. If you do it Christmas Day, and you’re not careful, you might forget what you’re celebrating, but reading it on Christmas Eve makes it easier to keep everything in context
Gift bags, tbh. It’s harder to guess what something in a gift bag might be, and they can be reused constantly; while you can reuse wrapping paper, it’s not nearly as easy. Also, it’s easier to peak at your presents with gift bags, and I don’t feel tempted if I know it’s possible, because the challenge of not getting caught is what intrigues me xD
